Everything you would expect: opulent jammy fruit, toasty oak, dry-grown hilltop vineyards, underlying black & white pepper, Tempranillo. Wait what?. Tempranillo! Yes, in one of our less lucid moments we added 14.3 % to firm up the ageability and, you know what? It bloody well works a treat! (Excuse the Australianism)
