2017 Brecon Viognier
2017 Brecon Viognier

A Viognier with one “trench” foot in each camp. Don’t get us wrong we love the crispness of a cool climate Viognier. Also, we just love the mid palate viscosity combined with tropical aromatics of a more sunblessed version. But have you ever tried the combination! Truly the best of both worlds.

The riper stone fruit flavors, think peaches and nectarines, are dictated by sun drenched blocks  high on the slopes above Adelaida road. While clean citrus characters and floral notes shine through from Paragons fog prone vineyard in the heart of Old Edna.

92 Pts. purley domestic wine report, July 2018.

"The nose is a blend of red apple, pear and gardenia carried on vanilla/marzipan. The palate entry is a lush peach, vanilla and pear with an oily core of dried peach skin and banana finishing with sweet dried apricot. Drink 2018 –2023."
