2023 Brecon Cabernet Franc
When you have the oldest Cabernet Franc vineyard in Paso Robles, there's little point in running around like a headless chook trying to find an alternative with greater tannin or color intensity. You'd be sorely missing the point. The old vines offer far greater complexity and elegance. Try closing your eyes as you imbibe. We see it as our duty to care for these venerable vines and reveal the quality inherent in the vineyard. We revel in the challenge each vintage throws at us. The result is a wine with chic oak, refined tannins, a smooth mid-palate, and a red fruit complexity that is unmatched in the region.
